The process of manual Lymphatic drainage is used in this session. The provider uses gentle hand strokes to promote the flow of lymph fluid (toxin) from the clients body into the lymph node and out of the body system. This process in addition to the vibration plate helps reduce discomfort and swellings that is caused be a disruption in the body due to surgery.

During this session, manual lymphatic drainage technique is utilized to reduce the appearance of swelling and incisions are assessed for any infection. Compression garment sizing guide will be provided to clients to prevent the occurrence of seroma and/or other surgical complications. Depending on individual healing process, between 5 to 6 weeks manual lymphatic drainage can be combined with non-invasive therapy which includes Ultrasonic Cavitation, and Radio Frequency Skin tightening. This process in addition to the use of vibration plate helps reduce swelling, dissolve fat, tighten the skin, and contour the body without destroying the skin surface.

The nurse assesses the wound, and provider order is required for the wound treatment plan. Surgical site must be assessed by nurse, before treatment is provided. Pricing varies depending on the severity and type of wound.
